A SPEECH MADE BY MISS AISHA BALOGUN, THE SCHOOL VALEDICTORIAN FOR THE YEAR 2019 AT THE VALEDITORY SERVICE / PRIZE-GIVING CEREMONY HELD IN THE SCHOOL HALL ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 17 2019.
Good day our most valued parents and esteemed prospective parents, we are very thankful to God for giving us CISL for a most desired foundation to build a solid future on in life. We have so much to be thankful to God for thank we can never say enough.
First of all, we are glad we chose CACTUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL as our foundation upon which every other thing we would do in life will depend upon. At CACTUS SCHOOL, we have received quality education from our loving, kind, caring, competent and qualified teachers. They have imparted us with knowledge and skills that would be useful for the next phase of our lives.
All these we would not have achieved without the inspiration, support and encouragement of the chairman and executive director Pastor and Pastor Mrs. David Otaigbe. Thank you for establishing this great citadel of learning and giving us such a rich foundation. Thank you for inculcating moral and spiritual values that has prepared us to move on to the next level of our lives. I am confident that I am ready for our next level of life. CISL has taught me to be bold and confident wherever we find ourselves and I am happy to say that I am excelling in my education in a federal government college.
Fellow children, friends and parents visiting this site, I want you to know that the gifts of sound development we received are of a rare advantage as not all schools offer such advantages or opportunities.
Finally to my friends, I wish you well in all your future endeavour and I pray that you choose wisely and choose CISL for a well-rounded development in education. I have come to note, in my years at CACTUS SCHOOL, that we don’t have to look for inspirations from afar off because we have many worthy examples in our managers, educators, caregivers and other support staff to make inspiring contributions to us. All we need is being true to our values and committing ourselves to lofty goals.
We trust God that we will inspire prospective pupils of CISL and affect their world positively.
